This Is What Certified Swag Looked Like In The Early-To-Mid 2000’s

Middle School and High School are often times in our lives when we begin to make major fashion moves. But attending middle school and high school in the early to mid 2000’s came with specific fashion trends that probably wouldn’t be able to be pulled off today. If this list of 2000’s fashion throwbacks doesn’t give you major nostalgia, then we don’t know what will.

Which one of these do you remember?…

One brand that made a fashion statement in the 2000’s was ECKŌ.

This brand was the epitome of 2000’s swag. If you had this jacket, you were fly af.

When it came to keeping warm, nothing beat some fresh PRO CLUB gear.

EVERY single guy at my school owned one of these.

As for popular shorts and pants in the 2000’s, it was all about the Dickies.

Dickies was even more popular if you went to a school that required navy blue or khaki bottoms as part of their uniform.

And to hold those pants in place, you’d go with one of these trendy belts.

If you wanted to take it to another level, you’d get the shiny belt buckle to the right with the first letter of your name engraved.

In order to keep your shoe game ?, you had to own a pair of these bad boys:

It was either a pair of K-Swiss or a pair of Superstar Adidas.

You could also never go wrong with a fresh pair of Nike Air-force sneakers.

The worst part about having a pair of these shoes, was having someone step on your foot and leaving a stain was impossible to remove.

If you had a pair of chucks, there was a certain way you’d go about styling them.

You’d either rearrange your laces or leave the two lace holes at the top empty so that you could flip the tongue of the shoe over.

As for accessories, it was all about these rubber bracelets you’d cop at school or at public events.

Everyone at my school owned a “Livestrong” yellow rubber bracelet at one point.

If you knew a guy who had his ears pierced in the 2000’s, then chances are he wore these spike gages:

It was either ear gages or diamond studs.

But if you weren’t styling some ear gages, then you were rocking these necklaces:

These military style necklaces would come with sports team logos, school logos or colorful superhero logos.

And to complete your look, you’d show up to class with one of these backpacks:
