Here’s Why Dominicans And Mexicans Should Be Celebrating Drake’s Birthday Today

As Drake turns 31, today, we felt like it was appropriate to give the self-proclaimed 6 god from Toronto, Canada, a birthday shout out. It’s been well documented that Drake was born to a white, Jewish mother and an African-American father.

But while Drake has been known for his contributions to Hip-Hop, he has, in recent years, been known to collaborate with Dominican pop star, Romeo Santos, making him, in our eyes, an honorary Latino. He’s also teamed up with Future and wore a Mexican jersey in the “Used To This” music video.

As the U.S. continues to become increasingly Latino, we wanted to wish Drake a happy birthday and urging him to continue to represent for Latinos everywhere. Check out these videos where Drake made it very clear that he was down with Mexicans and Dominicans.
